Chapter 2: Equestrian Farewells I could smell the grease in the air and feel the gentle breeze on my face as I knew this was the final moment mere hours before launch. I watched as the amalgamation of ponies pulled ropes taut and struggle to move the Aquila along her greased Rails. The airship was that of a reluctant beast being forced out of it’s cave and into the light as it moaned and squealed along it’s forced path. But finally by shear force and determination of this team of ponies the Aquila gave up her claim within the hanger and welcomed the open air.
